Sketch May Lead to Escondido Beating Suspect: Cops

The suspect sketch was released in the hopes of making an arrest

Investigators have released a sketch of a suspect in the beating of an Escondido woman.

A man attacked the woman on her property, hitting her with a piece of wood around 3:50 p.m.

Officers responded to the home in the 1900 block of Glenridge Road and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect. 

According to family members, the victim had been gardening before she was attacked once she walked back into the house.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, 16 to 17 years old, approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall, 150-pounds and last seen wearing jeans and plaid shirt.

Officers warn not to approach this person if you see him.
