A broken flight simulator had two passengers yelling "mayday" on Thursday in Balboa Park.
A 22-year-old man and a 9-year-old girl were trapped inside the machine at the San Diego Aerospace Museum just after 11 a.m. They were stuck inside for around
20 minutes.
San Diego Fire and Rescue, along with museum personnel, were able to get the passengers out by using a
forklift to remove a piece of machinery that broke and was blocking the door. Nobody was injured.
The simulator will be closed until it's repaired.
