Enough Coke to Buy a House

Agents at the Temecula checkpoint found 75 lbs of cocaine

Agents at the I-15 checkpoint in Temecula discovered more than 75 lbs of coke Monday totaling more than $800,000.

Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican national for attempting to smuggle the cocaine.

About 1 p.m. a man arrived at the checkpoint driving a white Ford Explorer. Agents say they pulled him to the secondary inspection station because his "demeanor roused agents’ suspicions."

It was there that agents found a hidden compartment filled with 32 packages of cocaine.
