It has been decided that Antoinette Baker, one of the suspects originally accused of kidnapping and beating a local elderly woman, will not stand trial.
Baker was released from the Vista Detention Facility around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
Hiding under a jacket, she didn't comment. to the media.
But her mother, Jessie Baker told NBC 7/39 that she was happy to have her daughter home.
Two other teens remain in custody.
Jeffrey Edward Nelson and Luis Lomeli Osborne are accused of abducting 76-year-old La Mesa resident Sandy Vinge last December from her home, then beating and gagging her.
Vinge was found two days later in the trunk of her car with no food or water.
There was explosive testimony Tuesday, as a sheriff's detective testified what Baker said she overheard another suspect say.
"Yeah, I'm doing a favor by putting gas in her car, she's gonna be dead anyway," Det. Thomas Smith with the San Diego Sheriff's Department testified.

Vinge said that when she was trapped in the trunk, she was too scared to cry out for help because she was worried her alleged kidnappers would hurt her.
The two remaining suspects, Nelson and Osborne, will be arraigned in March.
