An elderly man drove through a produce stand in front a North Park grocery store Monday morning.
The man hit a woman in his green Ford Thunderbird as he drove through the fruit bins at the Sprouts on Park Blvd. at about 11:40 a.m., according to the San Diego Police Department. He also knocked over a Vespa that was parked in front of the store.
The woman was transported to Scripps Mercy hospital with facial injuries and a possible broken pelvis.
Police will interview the man, but did not arrest him or issue him a citation.
