One ticket sold in El Centro matched five of six numbers, missing only the Mega number, and is worth $297,256.
The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 1485 Ocotillo Drive in El Centro.
The winning numbers were 39, 25, 27, 38, 35, and the Mega number was 28.
A ticket sold in New York matched all six numbers to claim the $133 million top prize, so Friday's jackpot is projected to be $12 million.
