Early and Mail Ballot Voting Underway in San Diego

California’s primary is next Tuesday, June 7

According to the Registrar of Voters, 181,010 people have voted in San Diego County either by early voting or by mail ballot as of Tuesday at 5 p.m.

The Registrar of Voters says this could be the largest turnout in San Diego for a primary election.

937,801 total ballots have been mailed out to registered voters throughout the county.

Returns are 39.41 percent Republican, 42.22 percent Democrat and 18.37 percent Independent.

Registered voters can vote early at the San Diego County Elections Office on Overland Avenue in Kearny Mesa.
