Cruise Ship Delays Not Tied to Swine Flu

Passengers aboard the Celebrity cruise ship Mercury were held from debarking Monday morning by U.S. Customs after several people on the ship's manifest were unaccounted for, according to the Port of San Diego.

This was NOT swine flu related, according to a port spokesperson.

As of noon Monday, the ship had been given the okay to start unloading passengers.

The ship was returning from Chile. The Port was not sure if the boat made a stop in Mexico as was reported by a local television station during a noon newscast Monday.
