A crash involving three vehicles slowed traffic on State Route 56 Monday morning, officials said.
The collision happened around 8:50 a.m. on westbound and eastbound SR-56 at Camino Del Sur. At least two of the four cars overturned, including a Jeep Wrangler that came to rest on its side.
The vehicles involved in the crash ended up on both sides of SR-56. One person may have been trapped inside their vehicle following the accident, officials said.

Officials from the San Diego Police Department, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and CHP responded to the scene and began helping patients and collecting evidence.
The crash is under investigation.
