A man and a woman from Lakeside died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 5 near San Clemente early Sunday morning.
Christopher Goodrich, 35, crashed the motorcycle he and his wife Luz Goodrich, 32, were riding just after midnight near Avenida Vista Hermosa.
Luz Goodrich had just celebrated her 32nd birthday on Saturday.
The couple was rushed to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where they later died from their injuries, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
It is unclear how the crash happened or whether the couple had children.
