Former San Diego City Council candidate Felipe Hueso is out of jail after his arrest on suspicion of drunk driving.
An officer pulled Hueso over Monday night around 10:40 p.m. on the 4,000 block of Market Street.
Hueso was driving his Jeep with the off-road lights turned on, police said.
The officer smelled alcohol on Hueso's breath and gave him a field sobriety test, which police say registered 0.15.
The legal limit is 0.08.
Hueso lost last month's election to David Alvarez.
