The report of a person shot in the Grant Hill area of San Diego was unfounded, officials said.
San Diego police responded to the shooting along Imperial Avenue just after 8 a.m. Monday.
The location of the report was south of State Route 94 and west of Interstate 5, just blocks away from the San Diego Police Central Division.
