A gunman carjacked a young pregnant woman in the Mountain View area, but left her unhurt, police said.
The 24-year-old victim, who is seven months pregnant, was walking to a relative's car at 4300 Delta Street at 10:42 p.m. Tuesday, when the suspect allegedly walked up, shoved a handgun into her stomach and demanded the keys to the vehicle, police Sgt. Bob Dare said.
The gunman fled in a black 1999 Kia Sephia, California license number 5JNB503, Dare said. He was described as Latino, in his 30s, 5 feet 5 inches, of medium build, wearing a black hat and black sweatshirt.
