Woman Says Ex Raped Her in Parking Lot

No witnesses to alleged attack on 24-year-old woman

A local woman was raped in an Arby's parking lot by her ex-boyfriend, according to San Diego police.

The incident first came to the attention of police when the San Diego Fire Department responded to a call for help at the corner of Canyon Crest Drive and College Avenue in the College area. The 24-year-old woman told paramedics her ex-boyfriend took her to the restaurant parking lot on Mission Gorge Road, where he raped her, investigators said. She was eventually able to escape and call 911.

It's not clear how she got from the parking lot to the intersection three miles away where she called 911. The woman was taken to Alvarado Hospital, police said.

The suspect is 38-year-old Stacy Johnson and has not been arrested in connection with the incident.

The victim and Johnson were involved in a previous domestic violence case. The victim has been uncooperative in both cases and so detectives are continuing the investigation to gain further information.
