Cohn Restaurant Group, Costco Team Up to Offer Dining Discount Card

San Diego-headquartered Cohn Restaurant Group, which owns and operates 18 restaurants, has entered into a partnership with Costco Wholesale, in which the Seattle-based retailer is selling limited-edition dining cards at a discount to its members.

A statement from the restaurant firm said 1,000 Cohn Restaurant Group “Platinum Edition” dining cards are being made available to Costco members on shelves at select warehouse locations in San Diego County. Two-card packages valued at $1,000 are being offered at a 25 percent discount at Costco’s Morena Boulevard, Carmel Mountain Ranch, Mission Valley, Carlsbad and La Mesa warehouses.

Owner David Cohn said Costco recently approached his company about extending a limited-time offer to its customers, and this is the first time Cohn Restaurant Group has offered a retail deep-discount product.

Led by David and Lesley Cohn, the company operates 15 San Diego County restaurants and three in Hawaii. Its venues include Corvette Diner, Indigo Grill, Vintana and The Prado at Balboa Park.
