City crews worked to repair a sinkhole that opened up in a Chula Vista roadway Thursday evening.
The sinkhole opened in the middle of traffic lanes on Brandywine Avenue and Sequoia Street.
Crews told NBC 7 the sinkhole was not caused by a water main break.
The sinkhole was repaired later that night.
