While we'd love to say it's a close call, the fact of the matter is voters in Chula Vista are making their stance of Proposition H clear, with 57 percent voting no on the new tax within the city.
With over 38,000 votes counted so far, only a little over 16,000 people voted to support the prop, which was put on the ballot to broaden the current telecommunications tax by 5 percent.
The Prop aimed at updating the definition of telecommunications, which would include services like text messaging and wireless communication, in the hopes of providing the city with more funding.
