Chelsea King's family has a new Facebook page called "Chelsea's Light."
"Our sorrow and loss runs unspeakably deep, yet the inspiration of everyone's love and encouragement lifts us up," reads a Wednesday statement posted on the page by Chelsea's parents, Brent and Kelly King. "Our Chelsea set out to change the world and throughout our lifetime we will work to ensure that through us, Chelsea will create the enormous change she was determined to see. With your help, Chelsea's light will never dim."
"Chelsea's Light" will replace the "Chelsea King Search Center" page where the Kings communicated with thousands of people who had been following the search for the missing girl.
Chelsea's memorial is scheduled for March 13 at 2 p.m. at Poway High school.
The family has received so many requests of people wanting to donate that they have established the Chelsea 's Light Fund. Donations to the Chelsea 's Light Fund will be accepted at every Wells Fargo Bank across the United States (account #1838355913).
