UPDATED: A dead body found inside a burning car in Spring Valley appears to be a man between 40 and 50 years of age, the Medical Examiner's office said Sunday.
Deputies found the a 2006 Toyota sedan on fire just before 1 a.m. Saturday at Paradise Valley Road and South Worthington Street. The passenger compartment of the four-door sedan was engulfed in flames. They broke windows to look inside, but couldn't tell if anyone was in the car because of the heavy smoke and flames. Once firefighters put out the fire, deputies found a body on the driver's side of the vehicle.
The victim has yet to be identified.
