Chargers Announce Training Camp Schedule

When the Chargers held mini-camp, it kind of felt like football. But the season was still so far off, we couldn't get completely excited.

Now ... well, now it's real. It's tangible. Folks, it's almost HERE!

On Friday the Chargers released their official 2012 training camp schedule. 10 practices will be open to the public, highlighted by FanFest 2012 (presented by Bud Light) at Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday, August 4.

Here's a list of all the public practices, in chronological order:

Sat. 7/28 = 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Sun. 7/29 = 10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Tues. 7/31 = 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Wed. 8/1 = 7:15 - 9:30 p.m. (at Qualcomm Stadium)

Thurs. 8/2 = 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Fri. 8/3 = 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Sat. 8/4 = 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (FanFest 2012 at Qualcomm Stadium)

Mon. 8/6 = 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
