An on-duty Carlsbad police officer and his daughter were involved in a crash during a high speed chase Sunday.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. at Carlsbad Boulevard and Carlsbad Village Boulevard.
The officer’s teenage daughter was with her father on a ride-along when the officer tried to pull over a black SUV for a speeding.
The suspect then drove away officials said.
The chase ended when the officer lost control and spun out while trying to pass a couple in a pickup truck.
Nobody was hurt.
