A car ran off the road near Mission Trails Regional Park Saturday killing one person.
The car ran off the road where Mission Gorge Road meets Golfcrest Drive around 9:30 a.m. The image above shows the view from the intersection according to Google maps.
San Diego police said one person died in the accident. The car landed 100 to 150 feet down off the road, police said.
