A driver slammed a car into the Rancho Penasquitos Public Library Wednesday night, police confirmed.
The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. at 13330 Salmon River Rd.
Police and fire rescue crews responded to the scene and reported the driver was out of the vehicle, but had sustained some injuries.
The extent of those injuries is unknown at this point. Nobody else was injured, police said.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Officials said it’s possible that alcohol played a factor.
