“Call of the Wild,” Animal Art To Save Endangered Species

To celebrate their 5th anniversary, Art On 30th is lending a helping hand to endangered species.

On Saturday, May 4th from 6pm-8pm, Art On 30th will host "Call of the Wild," an art show fundraiser.

Artists are donating animal art they create, the art will then be sold to the public.  Money raised will be donated to Global Conservation Force, a San Diego based anti-poaching organization.

Many of the arts pieces will be coming from San Diego based artists, but the event has attracted national attention and artists from all over America are sending in art to be part of the fundraiser.

Kate Ashton, owner of Art On 30th, expects to have over 150 works of art available for auction.  Everything from paintings to iron work to statues and more.

Art on 30th is located at 4434 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92116.
