Cal Fire has issued a "No Burn Proclamation" for San Diego County, officials said Tuesday.
All burning permits and other uses of open fire are prohibited due to dry conditions.
It also limits use of campfires to public campground areas.
The order was put into effect Monday at 4 p.m. There is no set time when the "no burn order" will end.
