A bullet fired Monday during a fight outside a City Heights bar struck a nearby home where a woman was with her child, San Diego Police said.
A fight began around midnight involving a group of people at the Vallarta Bar and Grill off of El Cajon Boulevard, east of State Route 15.
Soon after, shots were fired into the street from inside a Ford Expedition traveling southbound on Marlborough Avenue. The SUV was described as gold with 20 to 22-inch rims, police said.
Bullets shattered the windows of a parked Toyota Tundra and struck the home behind the truck, police said.
No one was injured.
No other information was immediately available.
