San Diego Fire-Rescue crews jumped on a fire reported along State Route 52 near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
Calls started coming in just after 1 p.m. of a brush fire on the south side of SR-52.
Firefighters contained the fire to a 50-square foot area of ground, according to Alec Phillipp, acting spokesperson for the fire department.
No injuries were reported.
