Fire crews battled a small brush fire near a Ranchos Penasquitos neighborhood Saturday.
Just after 11 a.m., crews responded to a fire burning near the 11000 block of Linares Street.
No structures were damaged and no one was injured, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
