Firefighters responded to two small grass fires early Friday.
Estimated at four acres, the fire that started near Matthew Court was quickly stopped by fire crews.
There are some buildings nearby but officials said they were not threatened.
Crews also responded to a fire near Lyons Valley Road and Rocky Mountain Road close to Jamul in San Diego’s East County.
The Skyline Fire is 1/4 acre of grass, spreading slowly according to a Cal Fire spokesperson.
