A brush fire burned in the Tijuana River Valley Friday afternoon, according to fire officials.
The fire began around 5 p.m. and spread to one acre near the 2100 block of Hollister Street.
Brush was burning at a slow rate of speed and no structures were threatened.
Firefighters had the fire under control shortly before 5:30 p.m.
No evacuations have been ordered and no injuries have been reported.
