Officers are investigating after a man was found dead on Friday in the Midtown area of San Diego, the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) confirmed.
SDPD found the man, beleived to be in his 50s, on the ground and not breathing around 3:30 p.m. on the 2900 block of Kettner Blvd.
The man had suffered trauma to his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
SDPD says the man's identity is known but will not be released until family has been notified.
Homicide Detectives are investigating the incident.
