San Diego police confirmed the report of a body found submerged in an inlet behind Mission Bay High School was unfounded.
Officers were called to 2500 Grand Avenue at approximately 1:30 p.m. for the report of a dead body.
Officers arrived and determined the object was a shopping cart.
Rose Inlet flows from Mission Bay into an area east of Mission Bay High and south of Grand Avenue.
