A fire sparked at a three-story apartment building in Bankers Hill Friday evening, officials said.
The blaze began around 5:45 p.m. in a downstairs unit in the 200 block of Redwood Street.
Fire crews arrived to visible smoke coming from the apartment.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire within 10 minutes, while police provided traffic control in the area.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Check back for updates.
