The valet had just pulled up in the vehicle and was waiting for the car's owner when he was jumped

A man accused of stealing a car from a casino valet was arrested a day later with the stolen car parked in front of his home.

San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kirell Rybarev, 25, Tuesday around 7 a.m.

Deputies said Rybarev is wanted for a violent carjacking Monday morning outside Barona Casino in Lakeside.

It was 5 a.m. Monday when a valet attendant pulled an Acura 4-door Sedan to the customer waiting area. When the valet driver got out of the car and waited for the owner, a man assaulted the employee, jumped into the waiting car and took off.

The employee suffered injuries to his face deputies said.

Deputies said they found the stolen car outside Rybarev’s home on Molino Street in Santee. The car, parked in front of the home, had a stolen license plate tied to another theft in El Cajon according to deputies.

When Rybarev was approached by deputies, he tried to resist arrest officials said. Deputies said they deployed a taser in order to take the suspect into custody.

Rybarev was booked into San Diego County Jail for carjacking, possession of stolen and resisting arrest.
