Police said the suspect robbed a CitiBank using a demand note

Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the CitiBank at 755 Broadway Circle in downtown San Diego Friday afternoon.

According to police, the bank was robbed around 4:10 p.m. by a suspect described as a black male in his late 20s with a medium build, measuring about 5-feet-11-inches tall.

The suspect was wearing a dark-colored shirt and a black and red baseball cap.

Police said he handed a teller a demand note and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

Police are still investigating and looking for the suspect.
