A man watching television at home in Jamacha was robbed Saturday night by an armed man whose face was wrapped in bandages, police said.
The victim was in his bedroom at 882 Sawtelle Ave. when he heard a knock and answered his front door about 8:45 p.m., Sgt. Alan Hayward said.
A man, his face wrapped in bandages, wearing gray pants and a red shirt, showed the resident a handgun, told him to get back in the house and stole his wallet, Hayward said.
The robber drove off in a red Hyundai, which was followed by a black Chevy Blazer, the sergeant said.
