Aztecs Win Again, Reach MWC Title Game

56-43 win over Colorado State puts SDSU in tournament championship

The only team San Diego State did not beat in Mountain West Conference play this year was Boise State. If the Aztecs wanted another shot at the Broncos, they're not gonna get it.

Boise lost to Wyoming in overtime in the Mountain West Conference tournament semi-finals. So, SDSU will get to play the Cowpokes, because the Aztecs beat up on Colorado State in the other semi-final game.

The Aztecs are a different team with Dwayne Polee on the floor. In the first half, Polee went on a 8-nothing run by himself, making a 3-pointer, then a jump shot, then another 3-pointer before the Rams could get a point in edge-wise.

Polee finished with 12 points, second on the team to Winston Shepard and Aqeel Quinn, who both scored 16 points in the Aztecs' 56-43 win. If they can beat Wyoming on Saturday in a 3:00 Pacific time tip-off, San Diego State will be Mountain West regular season and tournament champs.
