An Evening to Honor Baby Izaiah Wallis

Stars will show up in support of the Wallis family

Founders of Passion 4 K.I.D.S Charity are hosting a fundraiser dedicated to 1-year-old Izaiah Wallis, the little boy who was hit by a teen alleged drunk driver while his grandfather was pushing Izaiah in a stroller.

Izaiah remains in critical condition at Rady Children’s Hospital.

The event in his honor will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 7 p.m. Among those showing their support are former-Padres star, Adrian Gonzalez, and Felix Giles, the first African American to race the Baja 1000. Flamenco guitarist, Oscar Aragon, and Salsa dancers, Marilyn and Rodrigo will provide the night’s entertainment.

All proceeds from the event will be given to Izaiah’s parents to help with the staggering medical bills, which they say are approximately $30,000 per day. The young family has no health insurance and the teen who hit the baby is also uninsured.

Guests at the event can enjoy chair massages from licensed massage therapists, as well as chiropractic adjustments by Dr. Matt Hubbard. A silent auction and raffle will be held featuring items donated from all over San Diego including autographed sports memorabilia.

Izaiah’s parents, Jacob Wallis and Lucy Verde, will make a major announcement at the event, which will be attended by a representative of Senator Barbara Boxer as well as other local and state dignitaries.
