Ammunition Dropped Off at Fire Station, Bomb Squad Responding

A bomp unit was called out after someone delivered some ammunition at the San Diego Fire-Rescue Station 14 in North Park.

It happened at approximately 2:45 p.m. on the 4000 block of 32nd Street.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department says they called out a bomb unit to pick up the ammunition to appropriately dispose of it. They said this is a routine procedure for them.

The amount of ammunition dropped off is unknown.

No other information was immediately available.
