Amber Alert: Toddler Taken at Knifepoint

Look out for white Camry with lic. no 5GBD911

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 21-month-old child as investigators search for her accused abductor who may be heading to Mexico.

Luis Valdiva-Meza, 26, reportedly took his daughter Yosesseline Meza and her mother from a home in San Leandro, and told the mother at knifepoint she would never see the child again, Alameda County sheriff's spokesman J.D. Nelson said.

They are believed to be traveling in a white four door 1992 Toyota Camry with Calif. license plate 5GBD911.

The suspect was last seen driving on state Highway 99 in central California and may be headed toward Mexico, Nelson said.

Valdiva-Meza is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall with brown hair and brown eye and weighs about 160 pound.

Yosesseline has brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a white long sleeved t-shirt and beige sweatpants.

Anyone who sees the suspect vehicle or Valdiva is asked to call 911 to report any information.
