The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest of a suspected robber.
Alex Ruiz is wanted in connection with five local robberies. According to authorities, the suspect has a history of violent crime and is currently violating parole. He has been seen in the San Diego, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove and South Bay areas.
Ruiz has several distinct tattoos. He has one on the left side of his neck that says “RIP Goofy.” He also has the words “south” and “sider” tattooed on his arms.
