Police Captain's Son Faces 7 Charges

A San Diego police captain’s son is facing seven charges after he was accused of sexual battery, according to the San Diego District Attorney's office.

Alex Guaderrama, 23 – son of Northwestern Division Capt. Manny Guaderrama – allegedly grabbed one woman’s buttocks, another woman’s breasts and punched a third woman in the face during a late-night altercation near Ramone’s Taco Shop on Garnet Avenue and Everts Street back on Aug. 21.

Officers said Guaderrama also broke a car window with his hand, left the scene and returned a short time later to face police.

Guaderrama is charged with four counts of sexual battery, one count of assault with force, one count of battery pursuant and one count of vandalism.

The district attorney’s office also confirmed that a warrant for Guaderrama’s arrest has been signed, but he has yet to be arrested.
