The airplane landed without incident, authorities said

An airplane landing in San Diego with a cracked windshield, authorities confirmed Tuesday.

The crack in the Frontier Airbus was reported at about 7 p.m. Tuesday night, according to San Diego Fire Rescue.

The airplane landed without incident. The fire department was called but did not respond, since no aid was necessary.

The runway was closed momentarily, but reopened after authorities determined the plane and passengers were okay.
