Wanted Fugitive Arrested in San Diego

A man listed as one of Maryland’s “Most Wanted” fugitives was captured in San Diego Tuesday.

Officers say they found Adam Garrett Foster hiding in an appliance repair shop on G Street.

Foster was wanted in a brutal New Year’s Eve stabbing outside a Chesapeake Beach, Maryland restaurant.

The victim was attacked while walking to his car with his girlfriend. The man suffered five stab wounds to his back and cuts to his head officials said.

Members of the San Diego Fugitive Task Force learned Foster may have been hiding out at the Ebony Motel on 32nd Street.

Officers attempted to take him into custody Tuesday afternoon when Foster tried to run.

San Diego police joined the pursuit and they were able to trace him to the shop on G Street.

He has been booked in San Diego County jail and is awaiting extradition to Maryland.
