64-Year-Old Stabbed 20 Times by Woman, Cops Say

A 64-year-old man was stabbed more than 20 times by a woman in the East Village Saturday night, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. He reportedly told police he knew the woman who attacked him, according to San Diego police Sgt. Bob Dare.

The assailant was allegedly upset about money that the man owed her, and stabbed him over and over again in the 500 block of 14th Street about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Dare said.

Police described the suspect as black, 27 years old, short and heavy set and said her name is "Keyshia." Police did not provide a last name.
