Cal Fire crews have stopped the forward spread of two brush fires burning on the east side of Church Road off Old Highway 80 in Campo.
The Church Fire was threatening one structure near Church Road across from Acorn Casino late Monday, according to Cal Fire.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the fire was at 9 acres and 70 percent contained. The rate of spread has been stopped.
There were no evacuations or road closures. Crews were expected to stay until Tuesday afternoon checking on hot spots.
