More than 4,500 customers across Normal Heights, University Heights and North Park were at one point without electricity Thursday night due to a power outage, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.
Power went out just before 8:40 p.m. and is expected to be restored by 12:30 a.m. Friday, SDG&E said.
The cause has yet to be determined.
