3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded 25 Miles West of Coronado

A small earthquake was recorded less than 25 miles off the coast of Coronado's Silver Strand Wednesday morning but the earthquake was barely felt in San Diego County. 

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the earthquake with a depth of about 10 miles struck at about 5 a.m.

Few locals reported feeling the temblor; weak shakes were felt in Chula Vista, National City, El Cajon and Encinitas, according to USGS.
