A power outage in La Mesa left nearly 3,000 people were without power overnight, San Diego Gas and Electric said.
SDG&E said the power went out for the Lake Murray, Mission Gorge and Sycamore Canyon neighborhoods just before 9 p.m.
The utility company doesn't know why and is investigating.
Power was restored around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
