3 Injured In Pacific Beach Stabbing

A large brawl that led to a stabbing outside several Pacific Beach businesses including a popular bar was the result of a drug deal, San Diego police said Wednesday.

Three people were rushed to the hospital after the stabbing on Garnet Avenue, near Dawes Street.

San Diego police received a call just after 2 a.m. reporting a large fight between eight to 15 people.

Officers found one man on the sidewalk with stab wounds to his chest.

Police said the second victim had a stab wound to the back of his ear and left bicep. The third man had a stab wound to his back.

This all started when the two suspects met up with the three friends here for a drug deal, police said.

For unknown reasons, a fight broke out and the two suspects stabbed the victims.

Police have not made any arrests.

The victims were found outside of Sideshow Tattoo.

Detectives are talking with witnesses and looking for surveillance video.
